Dr. Drew attended the University of Arizona where he earned his undergraduate degree. After a year at University of California, Irvine medical school, he completed his M.D. degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1987. Dr. Drew is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and has been practicing urology in the Reno/Tahoe area since 1990. His interests are wide-ranging, including all areas of adult and pediatric urology.
Dr. Garey-Sage was raised in Northern Nevada and attended the University of Oregon and University of Nevada Reno for his undergraduate degree. He completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He did his residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C., Mt Sinai Hospital of Chicago, and The University of Chicago. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been practicing Urology in Northern Nevada Since 1990. He enjoys multiple outdoor activities including hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter and traveling.
Dr. Hald earned his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from California State University, Fullerton. He completed his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in 1990. After two years of general surgery residency at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, he transferred and completed his urological surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine. He also completed advanced training in Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunction at the University of California, Los Angeles where his training included advanced microsurgical techniques as well as the surgical management of Peyrone’s disease.
Dr. Hald is board certified by the American Board of Urology and has held numerous leadership positions and served on various Boards and Commissions in the local and state medical community. He is a past President of the Nevada State Medical Association and the Washoe County Medical Society. His urological interests include all aspects of Adult and Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Hald is married to Amanda and has three children. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, snow skiing, mountain biking, hiking in the Sierra Nevada canyons and Reno foothills.
Dr. Lajeunesse graduated magna cum laude from her undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Ottawa in 1986. She completed her surgical internship at the Royal Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario prior to her urology residency in Ottawa, which finished in 1992. She is board certified by the American Board of Urology, a member of the College of Surgeons of Canada Urology, and maintains active status with numerous other professional organizations. Her surgical expertise, which has incorporated additional training, includes hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Lajeunesse moved from Ottawa, Canada with her family in 1999. Her favorite activities involve all things outdoors, preferably while traveling. Running marathons, climbing mountains, skiing and horseback riding are particular passions. An interest in Tae Kwon Do has led to a brown belt with aspirations of black belt status.
Cheryl attended Western Nevada College where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing. After working for several years as a registered nurse, she decided to return to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science with a major in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner. Cheryl is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been practicing in the Reno area as a Nurse Practitioner since 2001. Before starting at Urology Nevada in 2010, Cheryl spent several years working in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Jeremy grew up locally and attended college in Kentucky where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Physical Science and Mathematics. He later received his Physician Assistant training through the University of California-Davis. Jeremy is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He has diverse experience in multiple fields of medicine and enjoys all aspects of Urologic disorders.
Dr. Remy W. Lamberts was raised here in Northern Nevada where he attended Reno High School playing varsity soccer, mountain biking, skiing, and windsurfing. His parents, Dr. Eric Lamberts and Dr. Karen McDermott, are both primary care physicians in the area and instilled the importance of kindness, compassion, and integrity in medicine. After obtaining his Bachelors of Science, majoring in physics with a minor in mathematics, he spent a year and a half in France in one of the premier diabetes labs doing research on islet cell transplantation.
Moving back to Reno, he attended University of Nevada School of Medicine where he was awarded “best student in surgery” in his class and was additionally elected to the Alpha-Omega-Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his six year residency in Urology at Stanford Hospitals & Clinics where he participated in research on health policy, MRI fusion biopsy, kidney stone disease winning the WSAUA health policy essay contest and publishing six peer reviewed journal articles. His training covered the breadth of general urology but had emphasis on cutting edge ureteroscopic technology, Da Vinci robotic procedures for kidney and prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and minimally invasive therapies for enlarged prostates.
He is excited to be back in Reno with his family, serving his community, and enjoying the recreational and outdoor opportunities in the area! He is most recently engaged to Lyndsay Budak and they look forward to raising a family here together in this blossoming city and community.
