Dr. McCormack earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Princeton University, and his medical degree at Stanford University in 2001. Following, he completed his urologic residency at Stanford, where his training included laparoscopic renal surgery, robot assisted laparoscopic techniques using the da Vinci® Surgical System, and other minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of urologic disease. Dr. McCormack is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
In addition to cancer and stone disease, Dr. McCormack’s clinical interests also include men’s health, notably hormone replacement therapy, as well as voiding dysfunction. He incorporates state of the art treatment techniques, including Urolift® and Green Light photovaporization for prostate, as well as botox for bladder.
He moved to Reno in 2007 with his wife and two children, where he has continued to participate in triathlons and open water swimming.
Dr. Goode earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 2004. He then completed his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2008. He completed his urology residency training at the University at Buffalo, with training that includes laparoscopic surgery. He has presented and published research in the area of prostate cancer.
Dr. Goode is originally from Virginia, but grew up in a military family, moving frequently throughout the US and abroad. His wife Erika is a native of Reno. They have five children. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family, music, and playing tennis and racquetball.
Dr. Timothy J. Redden, a native of South Bend, IN, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and French language and Literature at Washington University in Saint Louis, MO and a Doctorate of Medicine at Saint Louis University. He completed his residency in Urology in the joint program at the Charette Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Redden is trained in the use of the Da Vinci robot, minimally invasive, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and microscopic surgical techniques to treat a wide variety of urologic conditions from urologic cancer, voiding dysfunction, infertility, to female urology. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a member of the American Urologic Association.
Before joining Urology of Nevada, Dr. Redden served the United States Navy as a Urologist with postings at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Branch Medical Clinic, Chinhae, South Korea, Naval Hospital Pensacola and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis, cycling, watersports, movies and theater. Dr. Redden is thrilled to join the Urology of Nevada family. With his wife and three teenage daughters, he very much looks forward to becoming an integral part of the wonderful Reno community and taking advantage of all that this vibrant area has to offer.
Corinna L. Jewell, BSPAS PA-C graduated Cum Laude from South University in Savannah, Georgia with her Physician Assistant degree in 2006. She completed internships in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Psychology, with an emphasis in Urology. She pursued a BS in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Georgia State University. She is board certified through the American Academy of Physician Assistants and holds membership with the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants, and Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants. After obtaining her Physician Assistant degree in 2006 she returned to Reno and joined the clinical team at Urology Nevada. Her dedication and experience in the specialty of Urology has made her an integral provider of patient care to our community. Corinna enjoys many outdoor activities, but spends most of her free time traveling with her two children to their various extracurricular and sporting events.
Davis J.P. Ayers II, MSPA, PA-C graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007. Prior to his PA studies he attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. After he obtained his Physician Assistant degree in 2007 he worked in Las Vegas for a multi-physician urology practice where he served as the Director of Allied Health and obtained extensive inpatient and outpatient urology experience including serving as a 1st assistant with the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. In 2011 he moved to New York City where he worked as an inpatient Urology PA at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. Davis was born in Reno and raised in Las Vegas. He and his wife Michelle moved to Reno in the summer of 2014 and enjoy traveling, running, biking, and Bikram yoga. They are proud new first time parents in 2016 with a baby girl and they have two English bulldogs named Turkish and Reggie.
