STEPHEN GABELICH
CEO of Urology Nevada
Stephen Gabelich is CEO of Urology Nevada, Reno’s largest Urology Group. Prior to this role he was CEO of Placerville’s largest multi-specialty group, CEO of Sacramento Valleys’, largest Ophthalmology group and COO of two business application and development companies.
With professional and family support he contributes back to the communities he serves by managing associations, sponsoring events, sitting on committees and boards. He holds a B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA and an M.B.A. from U.C. Davis.
RICK GERDTS
Chief Financial Officer
Rick has over 30 years of financial and accounting experience in the health care industry. He has worked in the health insurance, hospital, medical provider and non-profit sectors. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and he currently holds both a CPA license and CMA certificate in addition to being a Certified Balanced Scorecard Practitioner.
Rick is an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants Reno chapter and the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.
Rick moved to Nevada 10 years ago with his wife Tamie. They are active hikers, love spending time around Lake Tahoe and work as advocates for Nevada’s wild horses.
SABRINA PERES
Clinic Manager
With over 9 years of clinical experience, Sabrina has a passion for helping others. She holds a degree in business management and continues to further her education in health care. She is striving to deliver the best possible health care experience for our patients and dedicated to building and developing her care team. Sabrina has also proudly served in the US military.
SARA JOHNSON
Scheduling Manager
Sara prides herself in a job well done and is extremely effective at enhancing all aspects of patient visits to Urology Nevada through her insightful means of scheduling for the best possible care and treatment. Sara is a true innovator and brings a perfect balance of new technology and tried and true scheduling skills to the practice. Sara’s goal is to provide an exceptional appointment or surgery scheduling experience.
William Douglas
Billing Manager
William has over 20 years of experience in Medical Billing including experience as an Emergency Room Registration Clerk, Workers’ Compensation Adjuster, Medical Biller, and Certified Professional Coder. William is celebrating his 10 year anniversary with Urology Nevada in 2022.
William believes it is important for patients to be knowledgeable of their insurance coverage and benefits and is more than willing to use his knowledge of the medical insurance industry to help patients learn the ins and outs of their insurance.
A Reno native, William has spent almost 2 decades working with various not for profit organizations in the community to raise funds for health care clinics, provide meals for food pantry recipients, and raise funds for the Suicide Prevention Hotline to improve the quality of life for members of the community.
